Located on by the boat docks on the lake in the Downtown Disney marketplace, this restaurant is an adventure in itself. The interior is very themed, and of course it's designed to look like you're in a rainforest. The fun begins when periodically a thunderstorm erupts (you don't get wet), and some of the audio-animatronics animals of the forest come alive and begin to perform. There are gorillas, elephants and more. There's also a large saltwater fish tank that's wonderful to watch.

This is a very popular destination and it can take a while to be seated even with reservations. Often the restaurant brings out some entertaining and beautiful birds outside to help you pass the time. There's outdoor seating right on the water which can be really pleasant on a nice day. However, if you're sensitive, there might be some exhaust from the boats that are coming and going nearby.

There is a bar inside with stools, where you may be able to wait if you can get a spot.
