Right by the famous Sawgrass Mills shopping center that people come to visit from all over the world, you'll find P.F. Changs, an Asian chain restaurant. We were excited to see that they have separate gluten free and vegetarian menus. For those with allergies, they'll show you an ingredients list, and work with you to help you choose dishes that will work for you.

As you approach the restaurant you'll see two larger than life horse statues. The interior is pleasant, and upscale (maybe on the lower side of upscale but nice). It's fairly large and on the dark side. They play rock music which is on the loud side, but we didn't find it uncomfortably so. We could easily talk without straining our voices, and we could hear each other without any problem. I noticed the music was lower in the seating areas towards the outskirts of the restaurant.

Those in wheelchairs will have no problem navigating through most of the restaurant, though some areas will be tight.  There are regular tables and chairs as well as some padded booth seating. Bathrooms have accessible stalls.

Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer all of our questions about the food ingredients. He mentioned that every night he has at least one party requesting gluten free dining. This is not surprising considering how many options there are on the gluten free menu. There were so many choices that I didn't feel terribly restricted as I do in so many restaurants.

I ordered the gluten free egg drop soup to start, and my companion had the ribs with coleslaw off of the regular menu. Both were tasty and well prepared. My main course was shrimp in and black bean lobster sauce. You can choose brown or white rice, and I chose brown.  I was given several packets of wheat free tamari (soy sauce) with my meal. The shrimp was ever so slightly overcooked, but the flavor was delicious. My companion chose white rice and kung pao chicken. He found the quantity of the white rice to be too small, and requested extra which we were not charged for. He enjoyed the dish and felt it was flavored nicely, but could have used more sauce.

Overall, I'd say we really enjoyed the restaurant and would definitely return, especially in light of their special gluten free menu.
