Burkley Oxygen Services
Servicing the Orlando, Florida - Walt Disney World area

We would like to welcome Burkley Oxygen Services in the Orlando, Florida Walt Disney World area as our new sponsors! We're very happy to feature this company and to introduce them to our readers. Not only does Burkley Oxygen Services offer oxygen and breathing equipment, they're breathing specialists. My impression is that they seem truly committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure that their clients stay comfortable, safe and healthy during their visits to Orlando, Florida.

I had the opportunity to speak with Charlie Diauto, one of the owners and Vice President of Burkley Oxygen Services, which has been serving the Orlando, Florida area for over 15 years. Not only did he share about his business, but he had some great tips for our readers who are oxygen dependant or who have breathing disorders such as apnea. You'll find those oxygen tips here, but first I'd like to tell you more about Charlie and his company.

I was so impressed with Charlie's commitment to providing the highest level of care and service to his clients. On top of that, I really enjoyed his super pleasant and cheerful personality and his great sense of humor. No doubt this really helps puts his clients at ease. When I asked Charlie what makes Burkley Oxygen Services different from the other area companies, he had a lot to say:

  • Burkley Oxygen Services is accredited by The Joint Commission, which Charlie says is the gold standard of accreditation. Although it’s not legally required for them to become accredited, they have gone the extra distance to give their clients peace of mind by proving that they maintain the highest standards.
  • According to Charlie, their response time is the best in the area, and they’re available 24/7.  (Personally I find this to be so important, especially when you’re dealing with something as essential as breathing.)
  • Burkley Oxygen Services has two full time respiratory therapists who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help if one of their clients is having a problem. Charlie pointed out that most companies only have a therapist on call, but not on staff. He mentioned that his therapists have over 60 years of combined experience, and one of them was the head of respiratory therapy for the Osceola Regional Medical Center. Charlie sounded so proud of them when he said “They should have been doctors – they’re that good.”
  • Burkley Oxygen Services provides a full spectrum of oxygen related equipment and services, and in addition, they work with other area professionals including doctors, pharmacies and a well known medical supply company. They can help you get whatever support you need, even under emergency circumstances.
  • They’re not just a company that supplies oxygen along with a variety of other medical supplies, they’re breathing specialists. He believes that it’s essential for those with breathing issues to find a reputable company, and he believes that the people at Burkley Oxygen Services are a good choice because they have the skill sets and resources to support you.
  • They’re located very close to Disney, and they know the Walt Disney World property very well. Charlie believes their response time to Disney property is the best of all the oxygen companies. They can even come inside the Disney World parks to help you if you’re having a problem with your equipment.
  • They deliver to the Disney World resorts (and other Orlando area resorts), and drop off equipment by 8 am on day of your arrival. Actually they usually deliver the day before to be certain your equipment is there for you when you arrive. They also “over communicate” with the resort staff to make sure they have the equipment available to you when you arrive.
  • They know the Disney parks well, and are happy to give advice to their customers on how to manage with oxygen. Their customers can call them to ask questions.

Some of the items Burkley Oxygen Services offers include oxygen concentrators, portable cylinders, conserving devices, liquid oxygen systems, mobile oxygen systems, cannulas and tubing, nebulizers, CPAP, BIPAP, masks and appliances.
