Affordable Travel of Orlando is a company that has a wide assortment of private vacation homes, condos and hotels. One of the reasons why we've included them here is that they have 6 private vacation homes that are accessible. They are all single story homes with ramps as well as the following:

Roll in showers

Lower cabinets which are easier to reach

Furniture that’s strategically placed to allow more mobility and accessibility

Another thing that we thought would support our readers is that they also can get you handicapped rooms in many of the major hotels in the Orlando area. They offer these at a discount. It’s our understanding that most of the on-line discount companies like priceline.com don’t have access to handicapped rooms, so this is a definite plus.
We spoke to Trey Duling, vice president of Affordable Travel of Orlando to check out this company. He said “The key to helping guest plan their Disney World vacation is to listen to them and understand exactly what they are looking for. No family is alike…We train our representatives to really listen to the customer before suggesting any vacation package.” He seemed sincerely interested in creating appropriate and affordable packages for people with health issues, and we like that!
